First joint seminar of UFHC, Japan Housing Finance Agency (JHF) with the participation of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) 🤝 Participants discussed the development of housing finance in Ukraine. Ukrainian side shared the successes of yeOselia program implementation and spoke about recent changes to the program. At the same time, JHF presented their company's experience in various aspects of housing finance, including lending and risk management. This meeting was the beginning of a series of seminars aimed at facilitating the exchange of experience between Ukrainian and Japanese housing finance specialists.

A co little bit of information about what Global Affairs Canada does: Global Affairs Canada (GAC) is the department of the Government of Canada responsible for the country's foreign policy, international trade, and development assistance. It manages diplomatic and consular relations, promotes Canadian international trade, and provides humanitarian and development aid. The department is also involved in promoting Canada's values of democracy, human rights, and the rule of law on the global stage. Key areas of responsibility for Global Affairs Canada include: 1. **Diplomacy and International Relations**: GAC manages Canada's diplomatic relations with other countries and international organizations. This includes representing Canada at the United Nations, the G7, and other international forums. 2. **Trade and Investment**: The department works to expand Canadian trade and investment opportunities worldwide. This involves negotiating trade agreements, supporting Canadian businesses in international markets, and promoting foreign investment in Canada. 3. **Development and Humanitarian Assistance**: GAC administers Canada's international development aid, focusing on poverty reduction, sustainable development, and humanitarian assistance in response to crises and natural disasters. 4. **Consular Services**: The department provides assistance to Canadians traveling or living abroad, including passport services, emergency assistance, and support during crises. 5. **Promotion of Canadian Values**: GAC advocates for Canadian values such as democracy, human rights, and gender equality in international forums and through bilateral relationships. The department is led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, supported by the Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development, and the Minister of International Development. GAC operates a network of embassies, high commissions, and consulates around the world to carry out its mandate.

Treasury outlook: South Africa unlikely to exit FATF grey list before June 2025. Turkiye was actually added to the gray list for the first time in 2011. Following the regulations, it was removed from the list in 2014, during the time of the then Minister of Finance, Mehmet Simsek. In October 2021, it was put on the gray list again because it had deficiencies in some policies. As of today, 28 June 2024, A global financial watchdog has removed Turkiye from its “grey list” of countries. The Financial Action Task Force announced the decision on Friday after Turkiye was added to the grey list in October 2021. 2011-2014 2021-2024 Turkiye is no longer subject to increased monitoring by the FATF. The Authority now requires banks to halt all securities brokerage activities unless they adhere to a new, stricter regulatory framework, including obtaining a properly vetted prospectus for all public share sales.
