I'm proud and excited to announce that NSW Police have chosen to partner with EVAC One (TAWCS) to engage our company to provide our Global Leading Emergency Software to assist Police Officers during Emergency Incidents within their Local Commands. Due to the specific nature of NSW Police's building environments and purpose, which includes people in Custody during building emergencies, required extensive consultation to ensure all life safety measures were addressed. The first role out encompasses the North Western Regional Command, that includes 48 Police Stations and over 2,500 Police Officers. I congratulate NSW Police by working with EVAC One to ensure Life Safety within the North Western Regional Command. We look forward to this new and exciting partnership.

Early on in my career, I discovered that I enjoyed studying the history of Law Enforcement and notable Law Enforcement Leaders. My enjoyment came from my love of history but also for my desire to learn from successful Law Enforcement Leaders of all eras so I could be the best Officer and possible future leader I could be. I found reading was a great way to feed my intellectual curiosity and to expose myself to many more philosophies, theories, ideas, and plans than I could ever encounter during my own career experiences. These lessons helped me succeed as I encountered challenges or incidents that were somewhat similar as my career developed. No Heroes: Inside the FBI’s Secret Counter-Terror Force by Danny Coulson was one of the books that no only influenced me early in my career by one that I continuously referenced throughout my career. This book is about Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Deputy Assistant Director Coulson’s (Ret.) storied career, especially focusing on his time creating and commanding their elite Hostage Rescue Team (HRT). But the book goes beyond his HRT years, with great information and stories from the assignments, cases, incidents, and challenges he faced before HRT. I not only utilized many of the leadership lessons I learned from this book during my career, but I used the actions/decisions of Deputy Assistant Director Coulson as case studies in my own book Leadership In Law Enforcement (https://lnkd.in/gfk7taFx). I highly recommend No Heroes to anyone who is serious about the study of Law Enforcement leadership, especially anyone who associated with tactical or specialty units. #police #policeofficer #officer #swat #tactical #hrt #fbi #srt #policedepartment #policechief #sheriff #deputy #specialagent #leadership #leaders #command #training #educaiton #lawenforcementtraining #hostagerescueteam #fbihrt International Association of Chiefs of Police Police Executive Research Forum Major Cities Chiefs Association National Tactical Officers Association TEEX - Law Enforcement and Protective Services FBI National Academy FBI National Academy Associates, Inc. This is unbelievable. It’s truly sad to see trust violated. The profession deserves the best, always. The evidence is striking—she left her police jacket in one of the stolen cars. Even more intriguing is the vast amount of digital evidence: the BMW connecting to her phone, her social media accounts, and the video footage. Law enforcement executives need to be well-prepared to address these issues within their agencies. It’s essential to identify those responsible and exonerate the wrongfully accused. It’s fair to say that over 90-95% (plus) of criminal cases have a digital nexus. Let’s solve some cases! #lawenforcement #sheriff #police #digital #forensics #digitalforensics Magnet Forensics #majorcrimes #DFIR

EXECUTIVE PROTECTION HISTORY Abraham Bolden The first African American US Secret Service Agent assigned to a Presidential Protective Detail… …but did you know he was instrumental in thwarting an initial plot to assassinate then-president John F. Kennedy??? Dubbed as the “Jackie Robinson of the Secret Service” by JFK, Agent Bolden became apart of the agency’s PPD in 1961. Amidst being framed for attempting to reveal misconduct within the agency during and after the Kennedy administration, Bolden served time in prison on alleged bribery charges in Spring of 1966; he was eventually pardoned by President Biden in 2022. During his bid, Bolden announced that there had been an initial plot to assassinate JFK at the Army-Navy game, in Chicago, in early November 1963–20 days before he would eventually lose his life in Dallas. Because of the threat, JFK’s visit to Chicago was cancelled. WHAT THIS MEANS FOR CURRENT DAY PROTECTORS: -govern yourselves accordingly when on AND off duty -always report integrity issues/flaws—even if it’s a team member and it affects the overall operation -document any suspicious activity -you are ALWAYS being watched—by both your team & would-be enemies Learn more about the history of the US Secret Service, Executive Protection (and so much more) at a future MVP Protective Services course taught by Mr. Melvin E. Key, Sr ! #executiveprotection #closeprotection #corevalues

As an Exercise Practitioner, one of the most fulfilling aspects of my role is participating in exercises that drive real-time improvements. The Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) allows us to identify gaps, build stronger partnerships, foster understanding, and enhance the preparedness of organizations across federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial levels. It’s incredible to witness how these efforts contribute to a more resilient and coordinated response.

Throughout the year every El Monte Police employee gets a one on one meeting with me - from the newest cadet to the most tenured officer. With slightly less than 200 PD employees, our agency can accomplish this task fairly realistically. These meetings have helped me better understand and connect with our employees and recognize needs within our department as the best ideas come from those closest to the job at hand. I want to thank everyone for being frank and forthright in these meetings - this has helped me immensely and will help grow and improve us as an organization. While every conversation has its own nuances, I always ask three basic questions: What are we doing well that we can improve upon? What are we not doing well that we need to change? If you were the chief, what would you be doing that I am not?

Nobody respects expert labor anymore. Everyone is treated like an expendable slave. However, it’s proven to be false and unwise. January 25th - Trump fires heads of TSA, Coast Guard and guts key aviation safety advisory committee. January 29th - Major plane crash kills dozens of people. January 30th - Trump attempts to shift blame for the plane crash to DEI hiring which almost exclusively benefits white women, but is assumed to benefit black people. Without the safety committee, there will be less to no safety. DEI prevents incompetent white guys from taking jobs they cannot do through nepotism and corrupting jobs for fraud. DEI hires are ALWAYS far more competent with proven experience and overwhelming success records. https://lnkd.in/g2-_5yyD
