CBP to Deploy Third Release de Minimis Enhancement in ACE CERT This Week

CBP expects to deploy a third release of a de minimis enhancement in the ACE certification environment on June 26, according to a June 23 cargo systems message.

The enhancement, Section 321 – Does Not Exceed $800 in Aggregated Shipments, will deploy to the ACE production environment on Aug. 12, and "will withhold release of de minimis shipments that are ineligible for clearance because the $800 per person/per day threshold has been met," CBP said. This release will include electronic data interchange (EDI) impacts, it said.
