FCC Establishes Pleading Cycle on Proposed T-Mobile/Grain Spectrum Deal
The FCC Wireless Bureau announced Tuesday that it found a spectrum transaction between Grain Management and T-Mobile to be “acceptable for filing” and started a pleading cycle. The companies said in March that Grain Management would buy all of T-Mobile's 800 MHz spectrum in exchange for cash and Grain's 600 MHz spectrum portfolio (see 2503210033).

T-Mobile had to sell the 800 MHz licenses as part of its purchase of Sprint, giving the first option to Dish Network, which declined. T-Mobile officials had hoped to close the sale last month. Instead, the bureau asked for comments. They're due June 20, with oppositions due June 30 and replies July 8, in docket 25-178.
