State Dept. Revokes Cuba Restricted List
The State Department last week rescinded its Cuba Restricted List, the list of entities that were subject to certain financial restrictions because of their ties to the Cuban government. The decision took effect Jan. 16, the agency said in a Federal Register notice.

The effective date was two days after President Joe Biden announced plans to remove Cuba from the State Department's state sponsors of terrorism list (see 2501140080). That list had imposed export restrictions on shipments of certain arms and dual-use items to the island, along with other trade prohibitions and restrictions.
