  • The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service reminds the trade community that an entry type 86 (de minimis) filed with CBP does not require the Lacey Act declaration. Companies can review which entry types require the Lacey Act declaration on this webpage (here).
  • CBP is extending the expiration date of its information collection activities related to the Foreign Trade Zones annual reconciliation and recordkeeping requirement. FTZ operators must prepare a reconciliation report within 90 days after the end of the zone/subzone year unless an extension is authorized and must retain the annual reconciliation report for a spot check or audit by CBP. CBP will be accepting comments on this information collection through March 17 (here).
