Section 321 Enhancement in ACE Delayed on a 'Performance Issue' at Launch

The deployment of the second de minimis enhancement in ACE has been delayed "due to a performance issue that was discovered at deployment," CBP said in a Jan. 12 cargo systems message.

This enhancement, "Section 321 – Does Not Exceed $800 in Aggregated Shipments," was scheduled to deploy on Jan. 11. It would have provided a warning in ACE when a de minimis shipment may exceed the $800 per person/per day threshold (see 2501100031).

CBP said it will send updated implementation information in a future CSMS message.
