- Information on customs broker permit user fee changes effective Oct. 1: Pursuant to a July 22 general notice, CBP is adjusting certain customs user fees and corresponding limitations established by the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) for FY25, which is effective as of Oct. 1. The Customs Broker Permit User Fee amount changed from $174.80 to $180.57. All broker permits issued on or after Oct. 1 are subject to the new user fee. Currently active permits are also subject to the new fee amount when paying the calendar year 2025 annual user fee (here).
