CSPC Issues Final Rule on Soft Infant and Toddler Carriers
The Consumer Product and Safety Commission is issuing its final rule updating the safety standard for soft infant and toddler carriers, it said in a notice. The final rule updates the mandatory standard to incorporate a 2024 version of the ASTM standard, and is effective Feb. 22, barring significant adverse comments, CPSC said.

CPSC sought public comments on the rule in September (see 2409090035). Any additional comments must be received by Dec. 20.
