CPSC Releases eFiling Quick Start Guide to Aid Importers

The Consumer Product Safety Commission published its eFiling Quick Start Guide to help importers and trade partners through the beginning stages of eFiling implementation, CPSC said in a July 12 email notification. The guide “compiles eFiling requirements, guidance on common questions and challenges, implementation best practices, and actionable steps for importers to navigate the various stages required to prepare for eFiling,” the email alert said.

Timely, relevant coverage of court proceedings and agency rulings involving tariffs, classification, valuation, origin and antidumping and countervailing duties. CPSC in June announced it would be expanding its beta pilot for its partner government agency message set to 2,000 participants (see 2406030059). It also said it would be extending the pilot for up to three years or until a final rule implementing the CPSC eFiling takes effect.
