Bird called the settlement “a major step in helping us to protect Iowans and underground infrastructure.” CenturyLink worked with the Iowa AG office for two years addressing concerns, a Lumen spokesperson said: "While we are disappointed with the decision to pursue this action, we will continue to work together to improve Iowa's One Call system."
