Lawmakers Offer More Measures to Nix Restrictions on Firearms Exports
Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, introduced a bill last week that would prohibit the Bureau of Industry and Security from using federal funds to finalize, implement or enforce a new interim final rule restricting firearms exports.

The legislation was referred to the Senate Banking Committee. Rep. Mark Green, R-Tenn., introduced a companion bill in May (see 2405030035).
Also last week, Green and Sen. Bill Hagerty, R-Tenn., introduced a resolution of disapproval that would overturn the regulations. Hagerty announced in April that he would propose the resolution.
