OFAC Deletes Iran-Linked Aircraft From SDN List
The Office of Foreign Assets Control deleted two aircraft from its Specially Designated Nationals List that were originally added for their ties to designated Iranian airlines Mahan Air and Pouya Air. One removed plane has aircraft registration number EP-MND (linked to Mahan air), the other is EP-GOM (linked to Pouya Air). The agency didn't release more information.

OFAC also updated several SDN entries with ties to Iran and Russia, including Sa'id Ahmad Muhammad al-Jamal, a Houthi financial facilitator who was sanctioned in 2021 and who leads a network helping to move goods for the Iranian government (see 2403260016 and 2403060017). OFAC also updated entries for the crude oil tanker Eternal Fortune, Lady Sofia and Russia-based Joint Stock Company Special Economic Zone of Industrial Production Alabuga.
