N333213: The tariff classification of the Universal Digital Timer from China
HTS: 9107.00.8000, 9903.88.03, 45¢ each + 6.4% + 2.5¢/jewel + 25%. "Time switches with clock or watch movement or with synchronous motor: valued over $5 each." |
Item: An animal feeder kit. The subject timer will replace old and non-working digital feeder timers used with 6-volt and 12-volt feeders. The UDT has a microprocessor inside the timer to count the time. The microprocessor is located on the timer circuit board. Based on the information provided to our office, the timer circuit board is considered to be a clock or watch movement in that the circuit board determines intervals of time. The UDT has the ability to program up to 10 feed times per day, each running from one to sixty seconds in duration. The digital timer is enclosed in a sealed plastic housing to protect it from the elements. The UDT is fully assembled at the time of import and will be imported separately from the animal feeder kit. You stated that after the timer is sold “the customer must attach the timer to the motor on the feeder kit. The timer is attached to a feeder kit to throw the feed out at certain times during a day. The feeder kit is intended to be used on farms, forests, or home use. |

The upper of the boot includes the portion of the molded rubber/plastic “Bean boot”-style bottom covering the top and sides of the foot, and a sewn-on textile and rubber/plastic shaft. The shaft and tongue consist of pieces of plastic-coated textile over foam padding. The interior of the boot is fully padded and lined with thin fleece and decorated with plush textile trim around the topline. A lace is threaded through four pairs of eyelets for secure closure at the front. The constituent material of the external surface area of the upper of the boot is rubber or plastics. The esau is composed of a textile material in a herringbone design. The slipper possesses thick toe box edging and a cushioned inner sole. It is completely lined in a short pile, plush fabric. The outer sole measures less than 2 mm thick. It is made of rubber or plastics with embedded textile covering the area touching the ground. (5) A closed-toe/closed-heel, below-the-ankle, house slipper. The esau is composed of batting and quilt-stitched textile. The upper and cushioned midsole is lined with short pile plush material. The outer sole measures less than 2 mm thick. It is made of rubber or plastics with embedded textile covering the area touching the ground. |
