District of California dismissed Trump's case against Twitter. His appeal before the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals was docketed in June, and the district court case was stayed in August, pending the outcome of the appeal. YouTube said the former president was no longer restricted starting Friday and could start uploading new content: “We carefully evaluated the continued risk of real-world violence, while balancing the chance for voters to hear equally from major national candidates in the run up to an election.” The channel will continue to be subject to YouTube policies just like another other account, the company said.
