USTR, UK Cabinet Official Talk IRA, WTO, Trade Dialogue
U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai said she and U.K. Secretary of State for International Trade Kemi Badenoch talked about how to strengthen the U.S.-U.K. trade relationship, how to reform the World Trade Organization, and how to confront "the challenges posed by non-market economies."

Badenoch tweeted that the two had a productive discussion. "We agreed to keep up a close dialogue on the impact of the Inflation Reduction Act as I expressed the UK’s very serious concerns about a global subsidies race," she wrote.
The Jan. 18 readout from USTR said Tai acknowledged the U.K.'s concerns with the IRA.
