The chambers agreed earlier that day to conference on the related SB-6281, the Washington Privacy Act (see 2003100053). “For the conference committee to be successful, it will need to find compromise positions on the two biggest differences between the House and Senate versions of the WPA -- enforcement and facial recognition,” Husch Blackwell attorneys blogged Wednesday. The session ends Thursday.
