New Trade Staff on Senate Finance Committee Announced

New Senate Finance Committee Chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, announced his trade policy staff, keeping several who served under the previous chairman.

  • Shane Warren, who had been chief international trade counsel, left the staff, and Nasim Fussell was promoted from deputy chief international trade counsel to take his place back in November.
  • Brian Bombassaro, who joined the committee in October 2017, will continue as international trade counsel.
  • Rory Heslington, who joined the committee in 2015, will continue as an international trade policy adviser.
  • Andrew Brandt, who had been a legislative assistant with trade and agriculture responsibilities in Grassley's office, now will be an international trade policy adviser for the committee's majority staff.
