commission voted 3-0 to authorize staff to file complaints and proposed stipulated court orders, one against Justin Ramsey and other defendants in the District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and another against Mike Jones and other defendants in the District Court for the Central District of California. “The law is clear about robocalls -- if a telemarketer doesn’t have consumers’ written permission, it’s illegal to make these calls,” said Consumer Protection Bureau Director Jessica Rich.
