Neustar announced its current LNPA contract with the Canadian Local Number Portability Consortium was extended a year to Dec. 31, 2017. S&P’s downgrade “reflects our view that the likelihood that Neustar will retain the LNPA contract has diminished," said S&P credit analyst Christopher Thompson, in the S&P release.
