CBP has posted a CSMS message, Unified Business Resumption Messaging messages, and alerts providing port status updates in the wake of Hurricane Gustav. According to the most recent information, the only port that remains closed as of September 5, 2008 is Morgan City, LA.

2. ACE Experienced Problems on September 4th
CBP has issued a CSMS message stating that as of 9:06 p.m. EDT, trade and field users nationwide are reporting an inability to login to the ACE Portal. The Portal does not load when users enter their username and password. Technical teams were investigating the issue. Service restoration was expected by 10:15 p.m. EDT.
