CBP advises that all PMS reports must be run for the statement payable on April 20, 2007 using the old report tool.
CBP states that the ability to run the AR 007 report using the new report tool has been temporarily disabled because for certain filers and importers, the report was only displaying partial results. According to CBP, in order to prevent confusion by statement participants, all PMS reports must be run using the old report tool.
(CBP sources have stated by phone that anyone who ran the AR 007 report from April 10, 2007, when the new report tool was installed, to April 12, 2007, when the new report tool was disabled, could have generated reports that omitted entries and/or contained incorrect totals.)
CBP states that it will issue a subsequent message when this problem has been resolved.
