CBP has posted to its Web site a notice announcing the 2007 tariff-rate quotas (TRQs) for the exported products provided for under the U.S. Jordan FTA in HTS Chapter 99, Subchapter IX, Notes 3, 4, 5, and 6 listed below:

3. Various Postings to CBP's Web Site

Updated version of December 2006 TSN plenary session agenda. CBP has posted to its Web site the December 5, 2006 updated version of its Trade Support Network (TSN) Plenary Session Agenda. According to CBP, the TSN Plenary Session was held December 11-13, 2006 in Arlington, VA. FY 2006 enforcement actions at CA's land border ports of entry. CBP has posted to its Web site a news release which outlines CBP's fiscal year (FY) 2006 enforcement actions at California's land border ports of entry. The press release states that CBP officers conducting security operations at California's land border ports of entry performed over 83 million inspections of people, seized almost 213,000 pounds of illegal narcotics and apprehended over 67,500 immigration violators during FY 2006. CBP Office of Air & Marine contributes to border security in FY 2006. CBP has posted to its Web site a news release which states that, among other things, CBP aviation and marine agents from its Office of Air & Marine have spent over 12,300 hours piloting aircraft and boats over western skies or in coastal waters during FY 2006. CBP states that these enforcement efforts contributed to the apprehension of 21,253 undocumented migrants, 65,238 pounds of marijuana, 545 pounds of cocaine, 73 pounds of methamphetamine, $1 million in currency and 68 vehicles, aircraft and vessels used in the commission of a crime. CBP launches "Know Before You Go, Get Your Passport" campaign. CBP has posted to its Web site a news release announcing that on December 8, 2006 CBP launched the "Know Before You Go, Get Your Passport" campaign aimed at preparing American citizens for upcoming changes to travel document requirements, also known as the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI).
