2. Chicago CBP Issues Pipelines on Suspension of AD/CV New Shipper Bonding Privilege, Use of CBP Form 4811 (Refunds), Etc.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) at the Port of Chicago has issued the following Pipelines:

Suspension of Antidumping (AD) and Countervailing (CV) Duty Bonding Privilege for New Shippers from 04/01/06 to 06/30/09 (Pipeline 06-19, dated 09/25/06) (See ITT's Online Archives or 08/22/06 news, 06082205, for BP summary of this suspension.)

3. APHIS Corrects November 30, 2004 Final Rule on Hass Avocados

The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has issued a notice, effective November 17, 2006, correcting an error in its November 30, 2004 final rule which expanded the number of states in which fresh Hass avocado fruit grown in approved orchards may be distributed, etc. (See ITT's Online Archives or 12/17/04 news, 04121725, for BP summary of APHIS' final rule.) 4. CBP Issues Federal Register Notice on Quarterly Interest Rates

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued a notice in the Federal Register announcing the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) quarterly interest rates that will be used to calculate interest on underpayments and overpayments of customs duties for the period beginning October 1, 2006 and ending December 31, 2006.
