AD: China Certain Frozen Warmwater Shrimp

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued a second amendment to the final antidumping (AD) duty determination on certain frozen warmwater shrimp from China in order to revise the AD duty rate of 11 companies.

(On July 28, 2006, the Court of International Trade granted the joint motion for entry of stipulated judgment filed by 11 companies against the U.S. In the motion, the parties informed the CIT that they had reached a settlement on the issue of whether the 11 respondents were part of the China-wide entity. As result, the ITA is assigning each of the 11 respondents a separate AD duty rate of 53.68% (the China section A respondent rate from the amended AD final determination).)

The ITA states that within five days of August 17, 2006, it will issue revised AD cash deposit instructions for the 11 respondents. In addition, the ITA will direct U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to collect AD cash deposits listed below, for entries of subject merchandise from China with a time of entry on or after August 17, 2006, for the following companies:
