CBP Issues Reminder on Contact Information For Filing Annual Election to Average for Motor Vehicles
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued a general notice reminding interested parties of the address and phone/fax numbers for filing annual election to average for motor vehicles with the Regulatory Audit Division, Office of Strategic Trade.

CBP sources explain that the Regulatory Audit Division's office address, phone, and fax numbers changed when the office moved to another location in September 2005, and that this notice will help prevent the use of old, invalid telephone and fax numbers.
(CBP notes that all filings for the annual election to average for motor vehicles under Section 11 of Appendix to Part 181, Rules of Origin Regulations of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), must be submitted to the above address.)
