Amended Final Results of AD Dut

The ITA states that the amendments resulted in a recalculation of the AD margins for Luoyang Bearing Corporation, Zheijiang Machinery Import & Export Corp., and China National Machinery Import & Export Corp. for the June 1, 1998 - May 31, 1999 review period. The ITA and ITA sources add that these amended final results did not change the review period AD margins for Wafangdian Bearing Factory (Wafangdian), Premier Bearing & Equipment, Ltd., or the China entity.

Current AD Cash Deposit Rates Unaffected

According to ITA sources, these amended final results do not change the current AD cash deposit rates for entries of subject merchandise from the above-listed companies or the China entity, as their AD cash deposit rates were established in the final results of an administrative review for a more recent review period.1

Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (06/01/98 -05/31/99)

The ITA states that for appraisement purposes, it will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to liquidate relevant entries covering subject merchandise effective April 13, 2005.

(In its notice of CIT decision, the ITA had stated that the effective date would be February 16, 2005; however, ITA sources now state that the effective date is April 13, 2005. See ITT's Online Archives or 03/14/05 news, 05031460, for BP summary of the ITA's notice of CIT decision.)

1 Regarding Wafangdian, the ITA had stated in an earlier amended final results notice that it had determined to revoke the order for Wafangdian once the court's decision was final and conclusive.

(See ITT's Online Archives or 01/12/01 and 02/28/01 news, 01011130 and 01022728, for BP summaries of the final results and an earlier amended final results of this AD duty administrative review, respectively.)
