Amended Results of CV Duty Administrative Review Belgium Stainless Steel Plate in Coils C-423-809
The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued a notice amending the final results of its countervailing (CV) duty administrative review, as there is now a final and conclusive court decision regarding the Court of International Trade (CIT) affirmation of the ITA's redetermination upon remand.

According to the ITA, this amendment covers one producer/exporter and the review period of September 4, 1998 - December 31, 1999.
The ITA states that the amended net subsidy rate for the 1998 portion of the review period is now 1.36% (from 3.25%), and will not affect the CV cash deposit rate for subject merchandise; however, the amended net subsidy rate for the 1999 portion of the review period, which is now 0.97% (from 1.78%) will affect the CV cash deposit rate for subject merchandise, as shown below:

ITA Assessment Instructions for Review Period
The ITA states that it will issue instructions directly to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to assess appropriate CV duties on relevant entries of subject merchandise subject to this review.
The ITA also states that entries made during January 2, 1999 - May 10, 1999 are not liable for the assessment of CV duties due to the ITA's termination of the suspension of liquidation and CV liability for this 'gap' period.
