The article states that Ridge expressed his desire to continue to serve as Secretary of Homeland Security until February 1, 2005 or until the Senate confirms his successor. 2. BIS Corrects Interim Rule on Communicating License Conditions in Writing

The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) has issued a correction to its November 23, 2004 interim rule which amended 15 CFR Part 750 to require licensees to communicate specific export license conditions in writing as certain regulatory language was inadvertently omitted.
