AD: Thailand Certain Welded Carbon Steel Pipe & Tubes

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued the final results of the antidumping (AD) duty administrative review of certain welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from Thailand for the period of March 1, 2002 through February 28, 2003.

Final Results of AD Duty Administrative Review

AD Cash Deposit Rates for a Time of Entry On/After 10/20/04

(a) de minimis rate of 0.17%, no AD cash deposit required, but liquidation will remain suspended

(b) for previously reviewed or investigated companies not covered in this review, the cash deposit rate will continue to be the company-specific rate published for the most recent period;

(c) if the exporter is not a firm covered in this review, a prior review, or the original AD duty investigation, the cash deposit rate will be the rate established for the most recent period for the producer of the merchandise; and

(d) if neither the exporter or the producer is a firm covered by this or any previous proceeding, the cash deposit rate will continue to be the "all others" rate established in the original AD duty investigation, which is 15.67%.

Assessment Instructions for Review Period (03/01/02 - 02/28/03)

The ITA states that it will determine and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will assess AD duties on all appropriate entries of the subject merchandise. The ITA states that it will issue appraisement instructions directly to CBP within 15 days of October 20, 2004.
